{ Averie 6 Months }

I adore 6 month old babies! Is there anything better? They are so happy and I love that their personalities are in full bloom!This little gorgeous baby is Averie Noelle. I had the pleasure of photographing her as a newborn, and I am loving watching her grow into a spunky little girl! Her eyes are going to melt your heart! Happy Half Birthday Sweet girl thank you for making us smile :) !

{ Baby Everly 6 days old }

This morning I had the pleasure to photography 6 day old baby Everly! Isn't she a gorgeous baby?! She fought the good sleeping fight but we did get her to fall asleep for a few beautiful pictures! Congrats to Lindsay and Matt on your beautiful new baby girl!

{ Ryleigh turns one}

As a parent, it is unbelievable how fast a year goes by. One minute you are bringing home your sweet baby, the next moment you are running after them keeping them out of your lazy susan. Cake smashes are one of my favorite shoots to do with children. It is the perfect way to keep them still, just long enough to get a few precious pictures. I first shot Ryleigh when she was 6 months, and it has been so fun to watch her grow. Check out her Gorgeous cake as well, her grandma baked it! Check back and I will post her info!

{ To all my Mama's out there }

I remember the feeling, you can't see your toes, ginger ale is your best friend, and you wonder if jeans with a button will ever enter your closet again. The LAST thing on earth you want to do is stand in front of a camera and be photographed. But as my favorite Photographer, Ana Brandt once told me, " It's not about you, it's about the generation that you are creating."

When I heard that, it really resinated with me. So I did it, I waddled on out there, had my best friend take our pictures. And it turns out, 15 months after I was graced with a beautiful baby boy, I actually miss that belly. I love looking at the pictures of me holding my belly with my baby inside of it. I created life and I want to remember what that looks like! Even if it's 60 pounds heavier than normal.

Celebrate the life that you are growing. That is why pregnancy pictures are SO important. Trust me I get it, double chins are not fun and either are stretchy pants, but remember you are beautiful. Not only are you a B.A. for carrying this child, but you look good doing it! 


2014 my goal is to improve and stay updated on my Blog, so I would like to dedicate this blog post to all the beautiful mama's I have photographed, and cheers to the future ones I will get to meet. Let's capture you in this moment right now, beautifully full of life.

Sweet Baby Henry { 3 weeks old }

I decided to start off 2014, with  this handsome man, Henry! 

Henry's Mother, Jennifer and I grew up together and I haven't seen her since we both headed off for college. It was so great seeing her, catching up and meeting her husband, adorable dogs and new baby. What a gorgeous family! Enjoy Baby Henry and his beautiful family :)
