{ Beautiful Bumps } Erica's Maternity Session

I love maxi's, a beach and an adorable pup! And all of those were included in our Seattle Adventure Maternity shoot with Erica, Chris and their adorable pup Walter Jones! They are expecting a sweet baby girl this summer . I loved watching these two and seeing how excited they are for the adventure they are about to embark on! Good luck Erica & Chris. I know she will be a gorgeous , loved little one!

{ May 10 on 10 } Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mother's day!!! 

So I know.... I am one day late. Things have been a little crazy over here, I will spare you all the details. So I made the choice to pushed back my May 10 on 10 back one day! 

Mothers Day! Oh man! I was sure spoiled today. This whole week i've been spoiled. My husband and father have been such a help to me this week. I was woken up with my son wearing a home made " I love mom" "Happy Mothers day " shirt. Such an amazing way to wake up. My sister and her whole family came over, and my brother. All the fathers made us an amazing breakfast. Brody was so nice and got me a mani pedi next week! How did he know that I love mani/ pedis :)! We ate, opened some beautiful gifts followed by some fishing and games!  I had such a wonderful day! Thank you all for texts, call and thanks to my wonderful husband and of course for Brody!

{ Brody Michael } 18 Months

My nephew Jacob asked me the other day , " Why do you say ages in months? Why don't you just say he's one??". And honestly, I didn't really have an answer in that moment. Because every other mom does it???!! But the truth is, beyond the fact that from 0-24 months your baby goes from a sleepy snugly baby to a rambunctious toddler. Or is it because every month is developmentally different than the next. For me I think it comes down to it makes me still feel like he is my baby. 

For months after Brody was born I found myself saying , " I just had a baby". Even though he would be 8 months old, I still felt like I was a fresh new mom. The truth is I still am. I am still learning, growing and making mistakes. But like any mom, I wouldn't trade my new life for any job in the world.

Brody is officially 18 months on Saturday but I took him out on a beautiful sunny day with his favorite pal Mickey to get some shots of him. He does not sit still and rarely cooperates for pictures these days. So this is what we got. But honestly, this is Brody at exactly this age. Capturing him at exactly who he is. Full of life and energy and kisses for Mickey. I hope you enjoy a glimpse into my favorite little boy!
